The construction of our new bull barns in Assentoft— Barns 6 and 7—is continuing rapidly. Barn 7's roof, structure, walls, and insulation were completed in July.
Following the summer holidays, the main structures of both barns are officially complete. Interior works are now moving at full speed.
In Barn 6, work for the bull calves’ new boxes, the staff and storage rooms, and a new semen collection area is progressing.
Among the new tools available to our barn and veterinary team will be a digital scale to measure the bulls’ weight directly. This will assist our team in ensuring our bulls benefit from even better animal welfare and we can efficiently track their health and growth.
Just across the road, in Barn 7, the interior groundworks are done, and we can begin the construction of the 42 individual boxes to house many of our bulls, and four welfare and play areas.
We’re really excited to see the barns taking shape and look forward to announcing their completion in mid-October.
