This week, we reached a fantastic milestone in the construction of our new bull barns in Denmark, and there is plenty to celebrate.
On Thursday, June 20th, we hosted a topping-out ceremony to honour the completion of Barn 6's roof and structure. The barn's walls and insulation for the staff area have also been installed.
This means the main structure is effectively complete, and interior works can start.
To celebrate this, the VikingGenetics team and several guests gathered outside the barn for lunch, a toast, and speeches from our Chairman of the Board, Anders Levring, and CEO, Louise Helmer.
Across from Barn 6, the steel trusses for Barn 7 are ready to be installed and will be put up between weeks 26 and 27.
We're thrilled with the progress and look forward to the barns' completion this autumn.
